this post is the most important post regarding MW3 on the website so far. it will include EVERYTHING confirmed for multiplayer. Happy reading!

basic
Each Prestige has 80 levels and there are 10 Prestige's. it includes new, broken down, and recycled perks. new weapon proficiencies bring unprecedented class and weapon customization.
The system has been brought back to before black ops. only with cooler stuff to it. The weapons have their own ranks, and to level up the person needs to use the weapon enough to unlock all the awesome stuff. Plus camouflage can now be applied to secondary weapons. so say hello to a whole new spectrum of customization!

The pointstreak has 3 different Strike Packages to choose from: Assault, Support, and Specialist.
Two new gametypes named Kill Confirmed and Team Defender are added to the game.
Kill confirmed is a team deathmatch type game, except teams don't score unless players walk over the dropped dog tag. and also teams can deny score by taking back their own dog tag.
Team defender is a variation of king of the hill and capture the flag. there is a flag i the middle of the map, and the team that can take it and keep it the longest wins.

The HUD will include a killstreak counter. so now you can see how many kills you have, instead of just guessing. and also a colored mini-map is included!

Prestige shop
Every time a player enters Prestige mode they may choose one of the following rewards from the Prestige Shop:

Extra custom class- this isn't automatic anymore. its fine by me.
Reset all stats- so people wont see your 500 noobtube kills and 1000 deaths. also hints that combat records are back!
Double XP- for the people who suck with the first guns, or want to be the first 10th prestige.
Double weapon XP- who wants to wait for that attachment anyway?
Unlock gear- my guess is unlocking all new stuff only for special prestigers

Assault Rifles-
M4A1- fully auto. likely the same as the M4, or the commando.
M16A4- three round burst.
SCAR-L- The official gay weapon of MW2. i fear for my lives.
CM901- HEY! COD is finally getting a new weapon!
Type 95- Japanese. Assault rifle. epic.
G36C- recoil lovers get ready for this gun.
ACR 6.8- recoil haters get ready for this gun.
MK14- ugh. so many bad memories.
AK-47- it wouldn't be a video game if this wasn't in, would it?
FAD- your such a FAD, if you use this gun.
FAMAS- the Frenches 15 minutes of fame are over. back to 3 round burst >

PP90M1- i like the name. its original.
P90- i swear i saw this name earlier. i don't know where though.
PM-9- sounds like a disease.
MP7- OK, now they're just making s*** up.
AK-74u- at least Vector isn't in.
Vector- DANG IT!

Light Machine Guns-
L86 LSW- $20 says its just like the M249 SAW.
PKP Pecheneg- they really know how to rename guns dont they?
MK46- new weapon? i think its an endangered species.
M60E4- like i said. endangered
RPD- HEEEEEY.

Barrett- not a 50. cal. just the barret.
L118A- L96Al. on MW3. Perfect.

Bouncing Betty- less powerful explosion device. not to be confused with bb's from w@w
Claymore- 2 powerful explosion devices.
C4- 2 replaceable remote explosives

Flash Grenade- bangs the enemy.
Concussion Grenade- impairs movement.
EMP grenade- electro magnetic pulse, AKA, emp. disables enemy equipment.
smoke grenade- creates a smokey puff cloud.

Trophy System- blocks enemy explosives.

withy my experience on MW3, the scar seemed to be the gay weapon of the game. the community loved it, or called it overpowered. i never used it, i only used the ACR. that or the AK-74u.
