welcome to part one of history lessons with gus. here you will learn about 100% true random history lessons about everything you care about. i will make these at request and at random.
todays lesson is the noob tube. the noob tube has been originally named the grenade launcher and was created somewhere near the 20's. back then it was just a grenade you placed on your rifle to launch and kill someone far away. then near the 60's the grenade launcher has been technilogicly advanced by putting it through a tube and making not explode on contact. near 2007 the grenade launcher has been brought back in time back to the 40's in call of duty: waw. then when people were killed by it they yelled: DANG I WAS GRENADE LAUNCHERED!!! obviously, it was akward to say. then in 2008, one day in call of duty: modern warfare, someone by the name of Billy Joles was grenade launchered and yelled NOOB!!! then noticed the grenade came from a tuby thing. thus he yelled: N00B TUBE!!!! realizing what he said, all his friends in the lobby were all like, "wow" and "wow thats pretty cool". thus, the name noob tube was born. Billy died 2 weeks later due to a heart attack. to pay their respects for billy, his friends carried on to call it that. however, the name was made fun of so much, everyone just eventually forgot it. then when Halo: 3 and modern warfare 2, came out, the man who owns treyarch, saw a blog that billys friends posted years ago about the name: noob tube, and a little about their dead friend, btw. he laughed and liked the name so much, he offered the boys $300,000 for him to buy that name and secretly use it throughout the video game community. the name noob tube was then made a huge sensation by the gaming community. billys friends are still rich to this day. billy is still dead. the man who created treyarch is still happy. and noob tubing is still gay to this very day. that entire story was 99.9% true. thank you
